The role:This Senior Operations Manager role will oversee all repair operations, administrative, and logistical functions. The role is based in County Louth. They will be responsible for overall repair services operations, including setting strategic operational plans, reporting financial and operational performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate must have extensive experience in the aviation with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.Responsibilities:Repair Operations

• Manage all repair shop activities in accordance with multiple agency regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with airline customers in the region.
• Develop performance standards among the team to enhance the company’s reputation with customers and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with customer contractual commitments.
• Ensure repair shop resources align with company maintenance operation standards and practices.
• Maintain and update operational procedures to reflect services provided.
• Oversee third-party vendor organizations to ensure service agreements are met.
• Ensure repair shop facilities comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Work with regulatory agencies to ensure local compliance.
• Address and resolve audit findings within agreed timeframes.

Leadership

• Manage, guide, and mentor shop managers and supervisors.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate direct reports.
• Lead managers and supervisors in implementing department objectives.
• Organize and execute department goals effectively.
• Manage the repair shop’s budget and expenses.

Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to executives.
• Strong understanding of service delivery, ensuring customer commitments are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Solid knowledge of financial controls and budgeting.
• Ability to contribute to strategic decisions impacting functional areas.
• Skilled in coaching managers and developing high-performing teams.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent internationally recognized qualification, or demonstrable related work experience in aviation.
• Extensive experience in the aviation industry, with significant managerial experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
• Must pass extensive security and background checks.
