Job Title: Customer Due Diligence Analyst

Salary: €32-36K DOE

Location: Sandyford, Dublin 18

12-month FTC

Description of Role:

Our client is now seeking a Customer Due Diligence Analyst to join their team.

The purpose of this role is to embed the global risk and compliance management framework, stimulate risk awareness across the organisation and enable management to evaluate and balance risks and returns in business activities in relation with Customer Due Diligence (CDD/KYC) aspects.

The Customer Due Diligence Analyst will be part of the Risk and Compliance Team.

Requirements:

Motor/Fleet industry experience desirable but not essential.

Banking and financial services experience essential.

Prior risk and compliance experience is essential.

College degree (Bachelor or above) preferably Law, Economics, Corporate Business, Business Administration.

Experience of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Previous experience in a Credit Risk and CDD role.

Knowledge of: Companies Act, CJA 2010, GDPR, and Money Laundering Regulations – CTF, FACTA/OFAC.

Sufficient experience of AML/Sanctions in financial services (minimum 12 months).

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

The CDD Analyst would be responsible for actioning tasks to support the CDD process,

Ensuring all digital records in core systems are accurately maintained and updated when required (SharePoint and local systems).

Accurately progress Customer Due Diligence (CDD/KYC) checks through the company system including identity verification checks.

Provide CDD expertise and support to the Credit Risk and trainings to the Sales departments, ensuring that new credit applications include the required CDD checks within KPI’s.

Investigate and action checks in a timely manner, working with internal and external parties to ensure compliancy with CDD policies.

Ensure evidence for periodic reviews is accurately compiled in a timely manner, ensuring appropriate checks are updated as necessary.

Create and maintain accurate records in the appropriate systems.

Liaise with internal stakeholders to support queries accurately and in a timely manner.

Ensuring that written procedures are deployed and adhered to.

Support the customer onboarding process on a day-to-day basis.

To lead the ongoing remediation as project owner and to generate dashboard and statistics for the management on CDD requests and their status.
