Position SummaryThe candidate will join the Investment & Strategy (I&S) Team supporting the management of SASOF VI including but not limited to fund raising activities, investment underwriting, capital deployment, ongoing performance monitoring and reporting and Investor communications. Additionally, the candidate will support the preparation of quarterly reporting materials for the Firm.Based in Dublin, the candidate will benefit from the support and experience of the I&S Team, exposure to members of senior management in Miami and Dublin, as well as on occasions to external industry professionals.ResponsibilitiesFund Raising

  • Assist the Investor Relations team with due diligence requests and reports
  • Prepare fund marketing material
  • Prepare ad-hoc market commentary

Deployment

  • Prepare pricing models
  • Prepare bid proposals, liaising with the Marketing, Technical and Legal teams
  • Review transaction documents
  • Support the Legal, Contracts and Finance teams through the acquisition process
  • Maintain market intelligence databases

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track and report Fund performance
  • Assist with the preparation of internal approval documentation, ad hoc reports and memorandums as required

Investor Communications

  • Prepare quarterly Investor letters including market commentary
  • Prepare annual and semi-annual Fund performance presentations

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in finance, economics, statistics and probabilities or equivalent

Minimum Experience:

  • 1-2 years or more of experience in aviation related business

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Financial modelling experience through a university undergraduate degree or masters
  • Strong statistical and analytical background
  • Excellent communication, report writing skills and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic with ability to work under tight deadlines and flexibility to work different hours
  • Self-starter using own initiative and team player
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to work on more than one project at a time
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to assist and support others and cope well under pressure
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in any other language is a plus
