Our client is the Irish subsidiary of a high-profile global aviation business. A vacancy now exists for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join the finance team and gain exposure across all aspects of a busy finance function. Role offers significant upward career progression within the organisation. Suited to an ambitious Assistant Accountant looking to enhance their skills & further their career.Role Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Senior Accountant in the planning & monitoring of month end processes.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts to include journals, reconciliations, profit margin and variance analysis.
• Responsible for intercompany reconciliations and reporting.
• Reporting of the monthly information pack to group level.
• Working alongside senior accountant, assist with budget & forecasting analysis and commentaries.
• Financial analysis and controlling of overheads.
• Assisting in the preparation of Tax returns and statutory accounts.
• Responsible for supporting the processing of asset sales and purchases.
• Banking duties including authorising invoices & payments in accordance with regulations and procedures
• Point of contact for auditors and dealing with any queries.
• Other ad-hoc reporting or duties as assigned by senior management.

Candidate Requirements:

• Part-Qualified Accountant currently studying towards professional exams.
• Must possess good problem-solving skills with the ability to work well on own initiative.
• Skilled in working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly at all levels within a business.
• Proficient with IT systems and MS Office
