Realtime Recruitment are looking for an experienced Windows Server Engineer for a role based in Limerick. This is an exciting new opportunity to work with a well establish Managed Service Provider and their end client. This role would be suitable for candidates based in Limerick or surrounding areas, offering a competitive salary and flexible hybrid working.Requirements– Provide support and engineering for Windows server environments (2008/2012/2016/2019) and VMware (6.7 and above).– Monitor system performance and event logs.– Familiarity with PowerShell and PowerCLI for VMware.– Apply system and security patches for stability and security.– Manage Active Directory users, groups, and file system security.– Work with SCCM and handle certificate management.– Familiarity with AWS cloud administration is a plus.– Follow change and incident management processes, resolving server and desktop tickets.– Manage ticket queues and contribute to problem management.– Collaborate effectively as part of a team.– Strong verbal and written communication skills.– Upgrade Windows Server and SQL Server versions.– Perform server builds and decommissions.– Administer VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon View.– Utilize Symantec Backup Exec and Exchange.– Create and troubleshoot GPOs.– Maintain technical documentation.– Conduct business continuity planning and disaster recovery testing.Apply– Call: 01-6520652– Email: [email protected]– You must hold a valid working Visa or an EU passport to be considered– No Sponsorship is provided or supported
