Who You AreYou’re a highly skilled and safety-conscious Welder with expertise in joining, repairing, and fabricating metal components to precise specifications. Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding, you excel at interpreting blueprints, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the structural integrity of your work. Your attention to detail, technical precision, and adherence to safety standards make you a trusted professional in your field.

What You’ll DoIn the role of Welder, your duties will include:

Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.

Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.

Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.

Set up components for welding according to specifications.

Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.

Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

Other duties as required.
Requirements:
-
5+ years of proven experience as a welder.

Experienced with a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG, MMA, etc.).

Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.).

Certification in welding from an accredited institution.
-
Must possess a US Secret or AUS NV-1 Clearance.

Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
Desired Qualifications:
- Possess a US TS/SCI or AUS PV Clearance.
This role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
