If so, we need you!We’re looking for a Ways of Working Enablement Coach to join our Operational Excellence team in either our Salford Quays, Manchester or Haywards Heath, West Sussex office.In this role you’ll be a servant leader, supporting all areas of First Central in their journey to increased business agility and continuous improvement. You will serve as a culture change champion, embodying lean agile principles, behaviours and mindset that enable the business to define and deliver desired business outcomes, optimising flow and delivering value at the highest quality.Precise and pioneering?   • Expert technical Lean Agile practical application and training experience (lean, six sigma, systems thinking, agile, kanban, scrum, value, flow, quality etc)
  • Coaching & people development (inc. senior & c/d suite level)
  • Problem solving
  • Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills (inc. senior & c/d suite level)
  • Servant Leadership & ability to support cultural change
  • Self-motivated and able to self-direct

What’s involved

  • Support the business in developing The First Central Way of Working, with a people focused approach to empowerment, servant leadership and coaching
  • Coaching others in the principles, systems and tools within The First Central Way of Working to ensure they reflect the best known and emerging approaches to solve both the here and now and emerging customer and company problems, drawing on knowledge of best practice across lean, six sigma, systems thinking, agile, kanban, scrum, value flow quality et al.
  • Support the business to define the experiments to expand their knowledge threshold in pursuit of delivering customer value
  • Coach on value enablement using a range of tools and techniques to ensure clear & measurable outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong effective working relationships, with senior leadership & Exec, influencing business leaders to progressively adopt a culture of continuous improvement / lean agile mindset
  • Providing thought leadership with the aim to successfully build business-wide lean agile capabilities, with a strong focus on customer outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory procedures to improve risk management and ensure strong audit performance
  • Work closely with The First Central Academy and PMO to identify and close capability gaps through coaching and development of internal training offerings
  • Any other reasonable duties as required

Experience & knowledge

  • Knowledge of FCA requirements (including individual responsibilities in relation to Consumer Duty)
  • Seasoned thought leader in Lean Agile, with a demonstrable track record of being able to effectively apply the theory to practice
  • 5 year’s experience leading lean agile programme(s) at a leadership level
  • Experience of establishing a culture of embracing a lean agile mindset and developing internal capability through up-skilling existing people
  • Ability to tailor lean agile approach and solution delivery depending on business and customer needs, ensuring suitable, framework agnostic ways of working prevail
  • Strong stakeholder management and coaching experience including at Executive level.
  • Experience in leading people through cultural change.
  • Solid understanding of Lean agile bodies of knowledge including supporting, tools, systems & principles
  • Strong understanding of the Company objectives and operations
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements specific to the Company and the functions under control
