We are looking for a strong people leader who has warehouse experience. Tricel has a vacancy for a motivated professional to manage the day to day function in their Headquarters, Killarney. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the role, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build, manage and maintain relationships at all levels. You take responsibility for the performance of the team, consistently meeting and exceeding targets. This challenging role will require a self-motivated and systems savvy individual with extensive experiencing of warehousing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 8-10 people.Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the Warehouse and Pack Out areas to meet production targets for customer delivery, product quality & cost ensuring a safe work environment at all times.
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
• Maintain correct standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
• Cross functional collaboration on identified projects/ issues is required.
• Ensure that productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly.
• Prioritize, allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
• Supervise staff to ensure that all warehouse activities, and all machines/equipment are operated safely.
• Train new workers in warehouse operating procedures and standards.
• Keep stock control systems up to date and ensure that inventories are accurate.
• Track and record any non-compliance and escalate as necessary.
• Coordination with Logistics and Transport with respect to deliveries to internal/external customers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 3 years warehousing and people management experience
• Strong understanding and use of systems and Excel
• Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration advantageous.
