This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to develop practical skills in warehouse production. The program offers hands-on training in the manufacturing and assembly of prefabrication components used in electrical engineering infrastructure. The candidate will gain exposure and be trained in warehouse operations, equipment use, quality control, and production processes. This placement is primarily in our warehouse and will include all aspects of warehouse procedures from assisting with goods in, off site manufacture, storage and dispatch of manufactured goods to site. You will be trained to assist and be part of our logistics team and will learn about, but not limited to: Good distribution practice Stock rotation Record keeping warehouse cleaning Courier booking on computer Health & Safety Liaising with colleagues No prior experience is required.Role Description This is a training and work experience opportunity, Training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which has been developed by the ETB in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. The optional module will fulfill your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. Formal Training: -All aspects of procedures for warehousing both physical and IT – Goods inwards/outwards – OSM -Stock Rotation -Manual Handling Informal Training -Liaising with colleagues -Team work -Courier Bookings/maintenance -Collaboration and learning
