Warehouse ManagerWarehouse & Coldstore Manager (Dublin)With over 50 years’ experience in the logistics industry McCulla Ireland are one of the country’s leading providers of ambient, chilled and frozen logistics solutions throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom and Europe.We currently have Operating Centres across Northern Ireland and Ireland, with further plans for expansion. McCulla has over 300 employees working across our Transport, Warehousing, Customs and Green Bioenergy Operations. There is an ever-growing modern fleet consisting of over 120 vehicles and 200 trailers operating our just in time service with environmental sustainability at the forefront of everything we do and making us unique in the market for our customers.The Role:You will be responsible for all Warehouse & Coldstore daily operations reporting to the General Manager. This involves motivating the team, delegating tasks, and being hands on. You will ensure we maintain high standards on every shift and meet the targets expected to satisfy our customers. The role is fast paced and in a challenging environment.About the roleDuties will include:Leading and motivating the warehouse team.Complete regular performance reviews, manage attendance and handle disciplinary issues.Create a positive work environment and ensure shift targets are met by the team.Delegate tasks and solve problems swiftly.Lead the warehouse team taking full responsibility for day-to-day operations.Ensure labour is proactively managed to ensure capacity is available to meet the customer needs.Ensure site operates within company policy and legal requirements.Manage the overall performance, linked to KPI’s to ensure activity is recorded and measured to optimise efficiencies.Ensure all inventory, orders and stock management processes are completed to standard.Always maintain a clean and safe working environment within the warehouse & coldstore.Provide excellent customer service throughout the store.Management of site facilities and liaising with contractors to manage plant and organise repairs.Ensure all employees are trained in accordance with the safe systems of work.Ensuring health and safetyCompletion of all records and reports in a timely and accurate manner.Requirements:Previous experience within a food or temperature-controlled warehouse.Must have a minimum 3 years’ experience managing a team of more than 10 employees.Previous experience using a Warehouse Management System.Experience of leading a team to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.The ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate a team.A customer-focused manner, remaining level-headed in any situation.Willingness to work as a key part of the warehouse team, completing daily tasks on every shift.A responsible approach and excellent communication skills so you can provide your colleagues with feedback to drive improvement.Flexible approach to working hours.Proficient IT Skills, competent using Microsoft office package.Knowledge of Health and Safety Requirements.Knowledge of BRC requirements.Terms:Full Time Role.Hours of work to suit business needs.Average of 45 hours per week.Base salary €60,000 DOE.Bonus potential based on KPI Targets being achieved.Additional Annual Leave (Service Based).Life & death in service insurance.Certified Training Courses.Career progression.Additional Company Benefits.About the companyWith over 50 years’ experience, McCulla Ireland is a Haulage, Customs, Warehousing, Distribution and Power Company with Operating Centres in Northern Ireland (Lisburn and Mallusk) and the Republic of Ireland.
