Pay Rate: £31, 651.83 – £36, 399.00 (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7, NIGHT Shift 10pm – 6am
Location: Worksop, S80 3FYDHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• To directly assist Management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance.
• To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, whilst always maintaining standards of excellence.
• Supporting shop floor team to deliver their results following the set standards.
• Coordinate and support the team to follow Safety Standards and to help reduce or eliminate health and safety related risks.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous experience as a people manager within a logistics / warehouse environment
• Automation knowledge would be desirable, but not essential
• Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems. JDA experience is preferred
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
