My Client is on the lookout for a dynamic Warehouse & Facility Manager to become a key player in their Warehouse & Logistics Team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of the My Client management team, driving day-to-day warehousing and logistics operations to meet and exceed both customer and business expectations.Your mission? To craft and execute innovative, sustainable supply chain strategies that boost the efficiency of the logistics function and warehouse facility. You’ll ensure products are handled, processed, and dispatched with exceptional quality and precision.Collaboration is key, and you’ll work closely with various departments and stakeholders, particularly the Head of Operations, to lead and support group-wide projects and initiatives that will shape the future of the organization’s operations.   • Lead and motivate the warehouse and mobility support teams to meet operational targets.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring accountability and responsibility are upheld.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting structures to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture through employee engagement, development, and leadership.
  • Provide training and feedback to team members and ensure a positive, safe work environment.

Operational Efficiency

  • Ensure products are processed to the highest standards, with a focus on safety, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations.
  • Manage all aspects of warehouse functions, including housekeeping, material allocation, and shipping.
  • Set and monitor clear performance targets (Inbound, Outbound, stock) for the warehouse team.
  • Maintain full traceability and accountability of materials using the Inventory Control System.
  • Manage logistics, inventory, and assembly of primary care products, ensuring operational efficiency aligns with company targets.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, stock control, and order fulfillment processes to improve productivity.

Facility Management

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of the Dublin facility.
  • Manage supplier contracts and the preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Maintain an equipment database and manage keyholder policies and emergency processes.

Quality Control

  • Ensure all warehouse operations comply with safety standards and Good Distribution Practices.
  • Uphold quality standards for product handling and storage, ensuring adherence to medicinal licensing and cold chain processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality-related issues.

Logistics and Shipping

  • Manage coordination with transportation providers for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Schedule and monitor deliveries and pickups.

Environmental, Safety & Compliance

  • Contribute to the company’s Sustainable Business Strategy, including carbon reduction and waste management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols.
  • Support ongoing safety training for warehouse staff.

Cost Management

  • Control operational costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Technology Utilization

  • Implement and optimize warehouse management systems (WMS) for streamlined operations.

Projects

  • Participate in key company projects to enhance overall business functions.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Previous warehouse management experience essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
