Job description
Our client is looking for a VP Technical to join their team in Dublin. The VP Technical will provide technical and asset management services for a portfolio of aircraft, support in-house marketing, legal, finance and contracts teams, and report to the Chief Technical Officer.What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure compliance with technical lease obligations, including maintenance tracking and utilization monitoring
- Assess, approve, and process maintenance reserve claims while assisting with financial forecasting
- Lead aircraft transitions, managing deliveries, redeliveries, and associated lease negotiations
- Conduct due diligence and oversee inspections during asset acquisitions and sales
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with airlines, MROs, and industry partners
What you will need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical and/or mechanical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in aircraft/engine leasing, maintenance, and/or financial services.
- Knowledge of narrow and wide-body commercial aircraft, engines, and related systems and parts.
- Strong PC skills and proficient in Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, and willingness to learn new computer programs.
