Transformation Senior Manager – Technology

Location: Artarmon

6 Month Contract – Daily Rate

We are seeking a Transformation Senior Manager – Technology to join our Foxtel Transformation Office. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Business Transformation & Procurement, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology within the Foxtel Group to transform and accomplish our strategic goals.

You will be part of a small, high performing internal team who work collaboratively, leveraging each other’s skills and expertise, and have ownership of our Technology operating model transformation initiatives throughout the lifecycle.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Execution: Implement strategies and prioritize initiatives by providing problem-solving and technical expertise across the technology organization.

  • Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with the senior leadership of the Group Chief Technology Officer to align on strategic initiatives and goals.

  • Change Management: Establish and drive a comprehensive education and change management plan throughout the organization.

  • Operating Model Design: Define and implement new operating rhythms, processes, forums, and methodologies that support a product-led technology organization.

  • Alignment and Interface Definition: Foster alignment and clarify interfaces between technology and product management teams, enhancing ways of working.

  • Product Roadmap Development: Assist technical product owners in defining and operationalizing product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with technology leadership.

  • Organizational Design Support: Collaborate with Human Resources to develop organizational design frameworks and RACI matrices.

  • Transformation Opportunities: Identify and articulate transformation opportunities within technology, working cross-functionally to operationalize these insights.

  • Project Management: Collaborate with transformation and technology teams to track and manage transformation projects, addressing schedule issues, managing critical paths, and mitigating risks.

Your Experience and Capability:

  • Prior Management Consulting experience, specifically in Transformation, Change, or Programme Management, ideally operating at a Senior Manager or Director level.

  • In-depth understanding of technology and/or digital products is essential (TV/streaming industry experience highly desirable)

  • Proven track record in developing, planning, and executing comprehensive change management strategies to drive the adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational initiatives.

  • A strong self-starter who is versatile and able to meet deadlines, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills.

  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across teams and departments to achieve shared goals.

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.

  • Strong presentation abilities, with the capability to articulate complex concepts simply and concisely to diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including data analysis and manipulation, paired with highly developed business acumen and strategic thinking.

  • Superior written communication skills, essential for preparing reports, drafting papers, and creating impactful PowerPoint presentations.
