With offices across major financial hubs worldwide, the firm specializes in M&A advisory, capital raising, and restructuring services across a variety of sectors. Their London-based Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) team is a key growth area, advising on high-profile transactions in this fast-evolving and innovative sector.They are seeking a talented Analyst / Associate with 2-5 years of M&A or investment banking experience to join their dynamic TMT team. This role offers the opportunity to work on industry-defining deals with significant exposure to global clients and strategic decision-makers.Key Responsibilities:Transaction Support: Work alongside senior bankers to support M&A transactions, from initial pitch through to deal execution. You will play a key role in financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence, and preparation of transaction materials such as information memoranda and pitch books.Valuation & Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models, applying various valuation methods such as DCF, precedent transaction, and comparable company analysis to provide clients with actionable insights.Client Interaction: Support senior team members in managing client relationships, contributing to the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials. You will have opportunities to interact with clients and contribute to deal strategy discussions.Sector Research & Insights: Conduct detailed market research and sector analysis, focusing on the latest trends and developments in the TMT space. Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on industry analysis and market conditions.Transaction Management: Assist in managing multiple deal processes simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and all aspects of the transaction are properly coordinated across various stakeholders, including legal, financial, and operational advisors.Qualifications & Experience:M&A / Investment Banking Experience: 2-5 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance. Direct experience in the TMT sector or working on complex cross-border deals will be highly valued.Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling skills, with the ability to build and manipulate models using Excel. Proficiency with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ) is essential.Educational Background: A solid academic foundation with a degree in finance, economics, business, or related fields.
