2024-06-26Full TimePermanentTIG Welder Fabricator£14.50 – £15.001.5x overtime payMonday to Thursday 07:00 – 16:00 Friday 07:00 – 12:00NottinghamPermanentSummary:GI Pro have permanent role for a TIG Welder Fabricator for our Nottingham based clientWorking on a day shift Monday to Friday Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 16:00 Friday 07:00 – 12:00Offering pay rate between £14.50ph – £15.00phOvertimes paid at a premium (1.5x after 37.5hrs)This is a permanent contractThe company – Make laboratory equipment, things for funeral directors, mortuary/ morgue/ forensic equipmentThe role:

• Welding and fabricating stainless steel bespoke units for morgue equipment – Post Partum tables, fridges where they keep dead bodies etc
• Will all be mild steel fabrications and TIG welding
• Welding and fabricating stainless and mild steel laboratory products
• Welding small batch ancillary items
• Cleaning and polishing fabrications
• Working with press brake, laser, and mechanical assemblers

The candidate

• TIG welding experience essential (preferably thin stainless steel)
• Able to work from engineering drawings to make bespoke parts
