We currently have a vacancy for a Test automation specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks:

• Definition of test plans and test cases;
• Construction of test scenarios and scripts;
• Execution of tests as well as preparation and maintenance of test data;
• Enable the transition to an automated approach;
• Evaluate tools and technology for automation best fit to the project within the DevSecOps approach;
• Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture;
• Design and develop (new or modified) test automation solutions that meet the business needs;
• Create automated test reporting and metrics collection.

Requirements

• University degree combined with relevant IT professional experience of minimum 15 years;
• At least 3 years of experience with test automation technologies, tools and techniques;
• At least 3 years of experience in working in Agile/Sprint based IT project methodologies;
• At least 1 year of experience in working with public cloud technologies;
• Experience in manual testing;
• Experience in test data preparation, preferably with SQL databases;
• Good knowledge of testing technologies, tools, frameworks and techniques, in particular that can be used in cloud environments;
• Knowledge of data-driven solutions testing (data warehouse, data lakes, data mining, etc.);
• Knowledge of relational database management systems such as MS SQL, Oracle;
• Knowledge of a tool for web application testing tool, like Selenium or Protractor;
• Knowledge of a Test Management Tool, like Zephir for JIRA;
• Knowledge of a Defect Tracking tool, like Zephir for JIRA;
• Knowledge of an API testing tool, like SOAPUI;
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Spark, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies would be an asset;
• Optional certifications: ISTQB Specialist Level Test Automation Engineer, ISTQB Specialist Level Test Acceptance Testing, ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst;
• Excellent command of the English language, very good knowledge of the French language.
