Unique opportunity for experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our Field Service team on a FIFO roster flying from one of 5 capital cities (Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane) . In this permanent role with a global engine manufacturer, you will be part of a high performing team who specialise in engine maintenance and repairs across our client sites in the Pilbara or Goldfields region.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Work on critical mining projects
Fleet maintenance
Fault diagnostics
Engine repairs both major and minor
Work with other major OEM’s such as Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr etc
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification – Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards)
Previous field service experience servicing and maintaining heavy diesel products, mining equipment, power generation on engines and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)
Solid diagnostic, electronic and IT capabilities
Good communication skills
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a great team environment
Compensation and Benefits
