We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Technical Sales Engineer with expertise in packaging solutions. This role involves leveraging technical knowledge and sales acumen to drive business growth and provide exceptional customer service in the packaging industry.Key Responsibilities:1. Customer Engagement:
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the packaging sector.
– Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions.2. Technical Expertise:
– Provide in-depth technical knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and machinery.
– Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products.3. Sales Support:
– Prepare and deliver product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
– Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.4. Project Management:
– Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to order fulfillment.
– Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.5. Training and Support:
– Offer technical support and training to customers post-sale, addressing any concerns or questions.
– Develop and deliver training materials for internal teams and customers.6. Reporting and Analysis:
– Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.
– Analyse market trends and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies.Qualifications:– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Packaging Science, or a related field.
– 3+ years of experience in technical sales within the packaging industry.
– Strong understanding of packaging technologies and materials.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills.
– Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
– Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Skills:– Experience with project management tools.
– Knowledge of regulatory standards in the packaging industry.
– Familiarity with sustainability practices in packaging.
