Technical Sales – UKTechnical Sales Salary circa £47.5 + OTE bonus £60k + company car + expensesThe position will cover the UK and include new business development, incoming inquiries, and account management. You will require a technical sales background that required demonstrations ideally within the industrial machinery or a relatable technical product used within Manufacturing or Engineering.Working for a leading company manufacturer of machinery and equipment, in-house software and associated consumables. They employ around 700 people in 18 countries and work with a tight network of distributors. The diverse product range means that the solutions are used in both the retail and industrial sectors, and we are valued globally as a full-range supplier. They have been active in the European market for over 80 years and offer our employees a solid and secure structure for the future.Technical Sales responsibilities:
- Active sales of machinery used in manufacturing processes and production line systems as well as our consumables in UK
- Need analysis = solution definition and presentation
- Marking machine demonstration
- Sales negotiation (price, payment terms, delivery…)
- Follow the account receivable
- Independent support and sustainable expansion of your area
- Expansion and support of existing customers as well as acquisition of new customers
- Generation, support, follow-up and closing of own sales opportunities and leads
- Development and expansion of the project portfolio
- Sales meetings and negotiations within a given scope of action
- Own appointment and travel planning (dynamic, efficient and with vision)
- Working with the CRM tool: including reporting, gaining sustainable customer information
- Reporting to the sales management
Technical Sales profile:
- You have several years of professional experience in technical sales in B2B (technical equipment) and look after customers with enthusiasm
- You are result-, sales- and customer-oriented, as well as confident in negotiating and closing deals in technical environments.
- You are very independent and have organizational skills
- You have an affinity for industrial automatism and production applications
- You have knowledge of the UK industrial (manufacturing) market
- You have MS-Office skills and are confident in using the internet, social media.
- You see working with a CRM tool as a benefit, not a burden
