⚡ Your Mission as a Technical Project Manager (Onboarding):

Your primary goal is to craft and execute user onboarding strategies that drive engagement, retention, and satisfaction. You will lead projects that ensure new users quickly grasp and enjoy the platform, leveraging gamification and user-centric strategies to make onboarding an exciting and seamless experience. Your expertise will be crucial in creating onboarding processes that resonate with our audience and reflect the dynamic nature of gaming.

You will be working on:

CSGORoll — the world’s #1 skin gaming site. A community social gaming platform specifically designed for CS2 players, featuring unique in-house custom-built games, such as Roulette, Crash, Unboxing, and PVP.

HypeDrop — a leading gamified shopping platform, where over 500,000 users experience the excitement of real-time mystery box openings, box battles, and customizable deals. Since 2018, HypeDrop has sold over 150 million boxes, revolutionizing the way people shop and win.

You will:

  • Spearhead the design and launch of onboarding experiences tailored to the gaming and iGaming audience, focusing on enhancing user activation and long-term engagement.
  • Integrate gamification elements into onboarding to make the process fun, interactive, and rewarding, encouraging users to explore the platform and unlock its full potential.
  • Customize onboarding flows based on different player segments, understanding their gaming backgrounds, preferences, and expectations to deliver a relevant and engaging experience.
  • Track key metrics like activation rates, retention, and user engagement to evaluate the effectiveness of the onboarding experience and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner closely with Product, Development, Marketing, and Community teams to ensure the onboarding process is aligned with our brand and delivers a unified experience.
  • Lead concurrent onboarding projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality.
  • Continuously engage with users to gather feedback and refine onboarding processes, ensuring new users feel welcomed and supported from the start.
  • Implement scalable solutions and best practices that allow for efficient onboarding as our user base grows.
  • Continuously seek ways to incorporate gaming mechanics, challenges, and rewards into the onboarding process to keep users engaged and excited.

Job requirements

You will excel in this role if you possess:

  • 3+ years of experience managing user onboarding within the gaming or iGaming industry, with a solid track record of driving user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Expertise in designing onboarding processes that incorporate gamification and drive user interaction and enjoyment.
  • Deep understanding of user behavior, using data to optimize onboarding experiences and tailor them to specific audience needs.
  • Comfortable navigating the fast-paced environment of gaming, able to pivot quickly based on user feedback and market changes.
  • Proven ability to work across departments, leading cross-functional teams to align onboarding strategies with broader business goals.
  • Ability to think outside the box and creatively apply gaming mechanics to enhance onboarding and user experience.

It would be advantageous if you possess:

  • Familiarity with virtual items, skins, and gaming community dynamics, helping to create onboarding flows that resonate with players.
  • Understanding how to effectively apply gamification techniques to enhance onboarding, from rewards systems to progress tracking.
  • Credentials like PMP, CAPM, CSM, or UX design certifications that can support efficient project execution and user-friendly onboarding design.
