The Role & Key ResponsibilitiesJob Title: Technical Project Manager (IT Infrastructure)Location: Peterborough, UK (Hybrid)Do you have IT Infrastructure Project Management experience with Budget Management responsibility and a collaborative approach? Would you like to develop and shape the future of technology in the fast-paced world of FMCG? As part of our team, you will be responsible for the end to end delivery of a varied portfolio of projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and to the full scope.We are predominantly looking for a background in infrastructure projects ideally with some exposure to cloud implementation. You will need to be an effective relationship builder with the ability to form positive business partnerships across BTS and ABF with a wide range of stakeholders.It is an exciting time to join our ever evolving and international BTS team, a dynamic hub of innovation for several leading food and retail brands. We are consistently making big strides forward with the latest tech developments and extending our offering to internal business units to provide a full range of efficient and innovative IT solutions.What you’ll be doing:

  • Planning and Management of the end-to-end life cycle of a portfolio of mostly infrastructure projects.
  • Lead and facilitate Project Definition workshops.
  • Produce Project Initiation Documents.
  • Budget Management responsibility for each project in your portfolio, budgets will range on average from 5k to £1m
  • Project Administration including weekly highlight reports, minutes and risk register management with the ability to highlight risks to the relevant people for mitigation purposes.
  • Change and Quality Management, ensuring projects are delivered to scope, expectation, time and budget.
  • Resource scheduling effectively for each project in your portfolio.
  • Ensure seamless service transition including relevant, authorised documentation.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience of managing a portfolio of IT Infrastructure Projects.
  • With a customer focused approach and the ability to build positive professional relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to take ownership of, mitigating risk and an awareness of how to progress issues to resolution.
  • Previous experience of budget management.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and work methodically with good organisational skills
  • Previous exposure and knowledge of IT platforms, infrastructure and applications would be beneficial.
  • Ideally a formal Project Management certification such as Prince 2.
  • A recognised ITIL Foundation Certification would be beneficial.
