So, whether you’re interested in joining us as an individual contributor, manager, senior leader – or someone who aspires to growing into a leadership role – we look for people who are results focused, empathetic, visionary, empowering, and who ‘champion’ our cultures and values.The RoleTo support Cubic Telecom’s business, the Cubic Telecom Technology Department have built a state-of-the-art platform and core network which supports our customers across the globe.Due to large subscriber base growth, with associated requirements for increased capacity for all our services in addition the introduction of leading-edge technologies, Cubic Telecom is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team to drive for optimal Technical Delivery.In this role, the Technical Project Manager will primarily focus on driving for Technical Delivery excellence within the Technology department, owning cross-department process improvement initiatives, leading as a change agent, measuring the impact of change initiatives and using data to guide decision-making. They will lead in the use key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to track progress and demonstrate the value of change initiatives, using strong influencing skills.This is a great opportunity for an experienced technical project manager to demonstrate their technical and organisational ability, to work with the deployment of cutting-edge IoT technologies in the automotive and agriculture connectivity spaces, and to gain insight into all aspects of the Cubic business.The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include

• Aligning with a technical domain to develop into an expert point of contact for those domains
• Develop an understanding of industry trends and introducing and evangelising new ideas
• Managing the interdependencies and flow of all work across many teams
• Identifying, owning and driving short & long term initiatives across the company
• Leading in driving lean principles and continuous improvement, using measurement and analysis to guide decision-making.
• Identifying, mitigating and communicate risks in projects & programs to senior leaders and customers, and driving for ad-hoc delivery issue resolution
• Working with existing Technical Delivery team to improve overall team technical delivery practises
• Lead cross-functional engagement within Cubic.

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ technical project management experience, with 6+ years industry experience preferably with an engineering background
• Previous experience in Lean and Agile Methodologies (Lean, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks to optimize workflow and minimize waste)
• Experience in Software Delivery
• Adept at driving incremental change, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to grasp complex technical issues and make informed decisions.
• Ability to motivate, influence and guide a technical delivery team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and challenges
• Experience using Jira to track projects and document processes advantageous
• A strong background in knowledge sharing and working collaboratively with small teams
• Excellent spoken and written English
