Role Summary:
As a Technical Expert, you will collaborate closely with the Team Leader to develop evaluation tools and matrices, train field teams on specific technical topics, and participate in the analysis and formulation of project findings and recommendations. You will also be instrumental in developing proposals with ICS focal points.
We are looking for experts with a high level of expertise and professional experience of more than 5 years in one or more of the following thematic areas:

- Market System Development
- Disaster Risk Reduction
- Climate Change Adaptation
- Education Early Childhood Development
- Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI)
- Conflict Management / Prevention
- Public Health & Nutrition
- Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
- Water Sanitation and Hygiene
- Agriculture and Value Chain
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Team leader in the Inception report.
- Work with the Team Leader to design and refine evaluation tools and matrices.
- Train and mentor field teams in specific technical areas as required.
- Collaborate in reviewing analyses and integrating findings with actionable recommendations.
- Assist in developing project proposals with ICS focal points.
Contract Details:
This position is offered on a consultancy basis, with remuneration provided at a daily rate.
The number of days per project will be discussed and agreed upon with the consultant before project commencement.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience in the MENA region in research and evaluations..
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and manage MEAL processes in challenging environments.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with the capability to work effectively remotely.
