Your role will involve bridging the gap between technical and business aspects, overseeing projects from conception to completion, and building a number of solutions.Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement IT systems, taking into account infrastructure, storage, and networking.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms.
• Define and document the overall solution architecture.
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and security.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to the solution.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Skills:

• Expertise in systems design and knowledge in technical architecture
• Strong knowledge of IT, including a comprehensive understanding of infrastructure technologies such as Storage, Network (N/W), Active Directory (AD), Unix, and on-premises & enterprise technologies.
• Proficiency in Word/MS Office, and Visio.
• Knowledge of Linux & Windows systems, especially in the areas of Storage & Backup, would be beneficial.
• Awareness of cybersecurity – however, please note that cybersecurity recovery is not covered in this role.
• Experience in Banking environments
• Ability to solve problems creatively.
• Balance of technical expertise and business acumen, along with strong and effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Veritas & ComVault plus other multiplatform tools – beneficial
• Mainframe background – beneficial
