Our client is seeking a Tax Manager to join their dynamic internal tax function, reporting directly to the Head of Partnership Tax Affairs. The firm, a leading name in legal services, is at the forefront of the industry, catering to the needs of internationally focused companies and financial institutions operating in and from Ireland.About the RoleAs the Tax Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations while supporting the firm’s expanding operations, particularly in the London office. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with HR and Finance to facilitate smooth transitions for employees on international secondments.
- Providing expert advice on various tax matters, including employee benefits and invoicing requirements.
- Assisting with UK and Irish tax filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handling VAT reconciliation and managing PAYE exclusion orders.
About YouWe’re looking for a qualified tax professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience and the following attributes:
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance, especially PAYE and VAT.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-driven with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in IT, including advanced Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems.
- Outstanding analytical and communication skills.
- Experience working in a corporate environment.
