We are an Antwerp based law firm offering legal services in various areas including corporate, tax, fund structuring, dispute resolution, banking, finance & insolvency, and private clients. We handle a diverse portfolio of client work in three primary areas: (i) providing tailored tax advice to corporate clients on all kinds of direct and indirect taxation matters, (ii) offering tax advice on M&A, fund structuring, finance, capital markets transactions, and private clients, and (iii) supporting and representing clients during tax audits and court proceedings.Job descriptionAs a tax lawyer in our esteemed tax team, you will have the opportunity to:Become part of a young, dynamic and growing tax practiceWork closely with both Belgian and international clients, serving as a trusted tax advisor on a wide range of tax mattersEstablish a direct working relationship with our tax partners, facilitating a steep learning curveCollaborate with colleagues from various teams within our firm to work on premium market-leading M&A, fund structuring, capital markets, and finance transactionsEnhance your expertise as a tax lawyer through continuous knowledge sharing and meetings. Stay up to date on the latest (upcoming) developments in Belgian tax law.Your profileTo be considered for this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:A Belgian Master Degree in Law and an additional Master Degree in Tax Law (or an academic curriculum with equivalent Master-level courses)2 to 6 years of experience in tax law, preferably gained in a reputable law firm or tax consultancy firmAmbition and passion for tax law, with a strong desire to grow as a tax lawyer in a professional business law firm environmentA strong academic background and fluency in English and Dutch, with proficient understanding and verbal skills in FrenchThe ability to work independently and an innovative approach to solving complex legal questions.Our offerAt our firm, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating business law environment, where you will tackle challenging and high-quality work.
