Date Posted: 2025-01-21Country: United KingdomLocation: Grove Park, 7 Barton Close Grove Park, LE19 1SJ, Leicester, United kingdomPosition Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-starter for the role of Specialist, Finance Processes, Reporting & Compliance to oversee and manage the financial processes related to Talent Management as well as reporting requirements for Talent Management and Learning. This role will be responsible for Talent & Learning compliance reporting for regulatory agencies globally and to secure government funding where possible. The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify business requirements, focus on standardizing and automating processes and reporting, maintaining accurate records for audit purposes. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Talent Partners in the Annual Training Plan process. This position will report to the Global Talent Operations Leader.Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of financial reporting processes related to Talent & Learning, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls and compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance and governance requirements into financial processes, systems, and reporting.
  • Stay abreast of changes in local government reporting requirements, and ensure that the organization’s practices remain current and aligned with evolving standards.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage documentation and record-keeping processes to demonstrate compliance with reporting regulations

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and other relevant professional certifications are a plus.
  • 3- 5 years of experience in Workday Reporting experience.
  • Problem-solving orientation and ability to be thorough and detail-oriented, but also summarize and convey the bigger picture.
  • Desire and ability to become an expert in Compliance, Works Council and Government reporting requirements.
  • Foundational understanding of internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and apply them to practical compliance scenarios.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office preferred, particularly use of PivotTables. Experience with Power Query, PowerPivot, Power BI, or VBA/Python, or other reporting tools, such as Tableau or Oracle Analytic Server is a plus.
  • Demonstrated agility working with systems and reporting.
  • Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion and judgment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
