Working arrangements: Successful candidates will be required to undertake the work at Services Australia’s Canberra premises for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Length of contract: 12 Months

Contract extensions: 2 x 12 months

Security clearance: Must have Negative Vetting Level 1

Rates: $90 – $120 per hour (inc. super)

Services Australia is seeking a Systems Analyst for the identity management system to design, create, evaluate and document ICT solutions in new and existing ICT systems. They may propose modifications to the existing systems and processes, or design new systems to meet user needs as expressed in requirements documentations or user stories.

Key duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and define requirements for new solutions or enhancements to existing systems.

  • This involves understanding business needs and translating them into technical specifications.

  • Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides.

  • This is essential for ongoing support and future enhancements. Identify any gaps in current documentation and work with stakeholders to develop suitable procedure statements and user guides.

  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of IT solutions, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancements to support evolving business needs.

Primary Technologies required for role include:

  • ICT Infrastructure

Essential Criteria

  • Sound technical knowledge and experience performing detailed analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirements.

  • The ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define tasks, resolve issues, solve problems and ensure effective and timely implementation of projects.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience performing detailed analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirements.

  • The ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define tasks, resolve issues, solve problems, and ensure effective and timely implementation of projects.

  • Experience creating and maintaining solution and process documents.

  • The ability to set priorities, manage resources, and assist with the development of work plans.

  • Knowledge and experience with Identity Management Systems and methodology.
