Savills brand is “Helping people thrive through places and spaces”Savills ESG team is seeking to recruit a Sustainability and CSRD Support Manager to assist the organisation to deliver on our ESG / Sustainability policy and strategy requirements.The role will include strategically identifying optimum solutions to help Savills achieve its ESG targets, and critically evaluating the risks and opportunities associated with policy and solutions. The role will include close engagement with relevant stakeholders to identify barriers to the adoption of solutions.The CSRD role will include– Development of strategy for key metrics identified in the double materiality assessment– Development of impact, risk and opportunity management for key metrics identified in the double materiality assessment– Develop strategy for tracking key metrics– Work with stakeholders to develop targets for metricsHaving developed a knowledge of our workstreams (consultancy / transactional / property management) approach to and needs in the ESG space, the Sustainability and CSRD Support Manager will: assist with the following– Development of ESG steering group across all departments– Drive collaboration between various departments and ESG group– Develop quality checks on ESG advise and marketing material issued by the organisation– Support organisation on ESG knowledge/ focus areas linked to ESG– Support on pitches for the wider business.There will also be a requirement to work with the wider ESG and Risk and Compliance team to ensure compliance with Savills Plc internal reporting and CSRD requirements.The successful candidate will join a growing dynamic team, with real opportunity for development and progression.Your permanent location will be our Dublin head office, and the role may include travel to some of our managed commercial property portfolio and Savills offices throughout the country.Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the ESG and Risk and Compliance teams to develop and implement corporate policies for compliance with CSRD and Savills Plc requirements.
  • Support all service lines within organisation to comply with CSRD reporting compliance
  • Ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting aligned with CSRD standards and other relevant frameworks.
  • Prepare sustainability reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) to help Savills meet ESG goals and targets.
  • Lead on the sustainability reporting and assurance ensuring alignment with CSRD disclosure obligations.
  • Establish and maintain systems to track key sustainability metrics, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Facilities, HR, etc.) to gather data and improve data quality and accessibility.
  • Identify and manage risks related to CSRD compliance.
  • Support business development activities for sustainability, supporting our market activities.
  • Lead sustainability assurance engagements, scoping, planning and tracking of ESG goals through delivery, quality management and communications.
  • Develop client facing sustainability assurance service offering and become a “trusted advisor” for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Developing thought leadership and market eminence related to sustainability.
  • Support Savills wider business in developing strategies for clients to achieve ESG targets in line with EU Directives and non-financial reporting requirements.
  • Project management of resources, deliverables, and budgets on projects.
  • Providing advice to clients and design teams on the most cost-effective and beneficial route to compliance.
  • Education of staff through workshops.
  • Client reporting and client relationship management including presentations and meetings.
  • Reporting, issuing proposals/letters of engagement, providing content for pitch documents.

Skills, Knowledge, and ExperiencePerson Specification

  • A holistic knowledge of sustainability and wider ESG issues for the built environment.
  • Understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks and standards e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 50001, CSRD, TCFD, GRI, UN SDG, EU Taxonomy etc.
  • Demonstrate ability to foster alignment with ESG requirements and ensure that departments take action to support the transition
  • Demonstrate abilities to develop assurance frameworks such as ISO 9001/ ISAE 3000 standard or equivalent.
  • Confident with an ability to assimilate within a team and collaborate fully to help develop the business.
  • Understanding of the Real Estate industry.
  • Customer and people orientated, ability to be client facing; excellent communicator and presenter.
  • Strong report writing and focus on quality assurance.

  • Completely IT literate, numerate and experienced with data analysis with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to be flexible and to be able to multi-task and prioritise when necessary.
  • High-level of energy with drive for self-development and an evident passion for sustainability.

Qualifications and Technical Requirements

  • A third level qualification (Degree/Masters) in Environmental Science, Energy Engineering, Sustainability Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field or related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in relevant field.
  • Experience in energy management and sustainability assessments.
  • Experience with ESG reporting, sustainability metrics and energy performance monitoring.
