About The RoleWe are looking for a Sustainability Analyst to join our fast growing business. The perfect candidate for this role will deliver on these commitments that we have made to our planet, and ensure that we are leaving no trace when it comes to the environment.We are looking for somebody who is very comfortable gathering, organising, analysing and visualising data. You might be just starting out or looking for a bit of a career change.Responsibilities for the role:Calculate the carbon footprint of the business on a quarterly basisPresenting data and insights to drive the organisation towards achieving its net zero science based targetsSupport the company’s carbon removal strategyKeep up to date on the latest low-carbon or zero-carbon technologies and practisesProvide wider support across all areas of our ESG workComplete environmental disclosures such as CDPWork closely with in our commercial and our procurement team to ensure that our supply chain is aligned with our environmental targetsMI and reporting on commercial and procurement processes to drive efficiency and continuous improvement into our supply chain engagementsContributing narrative to bids questions raised around sustainabilitySupport on supplier assurance questionnairesManage modern slavery disclosure, /statements and policy requirements in terms of identifying and mitigating these risks in our supply chainAbout YouExperience and skills:An understanding of carbon reporting and reductionExcellent IT skills, particularly in spreadsheets and data analysisProactive and pragmatic approach to solving problemsThe ability to manage projects independentlyNaturally curious, self starting and enthusiasticCreative thinker, able to challenge established ways of doing things with a continuous improvement attitudeAbout UsPeople-Powered TransformationWe’re a purpose driven organisation, supporting organisations to build a better future for people, places and the planet.
