About the Role: We are looking for a Field Sales Associate to join our Surgical Solutions team in the Medical Products Division. In this role, you will sell and promote existing and new products in all FDA approved areas and applications. You should be passionate about selling state-of-the art implantable medical devices within the general and plastic surgery markets that are the highest quality in their class and be energized by working for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teams.

This role will cover the territory of Brooklyn which includes all of Long Island and surrounding areas; the candidate must reside in Brooklyn, Bronx, Long Island, Queens or Staten Island, New York, or surrounding areas.

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations in Brooklyn, Bronx, Long Island, Queens or Staten Island, New York, or surrounding areas.

Pay and Benefits:

  • $150,000-$170,000
  • Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics

Responsibilities: 

  • Represent both the Medical Division business needs as well as customer dynamics in a rapidly changing market
  • Coach and develop the field sales team through co-travel (40 – 75%) in the field planning, observing, and debriefing sales & clinical support calls, working with the field sales team to teach self-diagnosis and self-awareness
  • Drive the process to recruit and hire qualified candidates to fill territory needs
  • Participate in formulating and implementing broad business and sales strategies in collaboration with the marketing, product specialist and business leadership teams
  • Set expectations, lead and coach your sales team in tactical sales planning to achieve annual sales forecast
  • Participate in development and implementation of contract and national account strategies
  • Build physician customer relationships and develop regional/national advocates of GORE Surgical Solutions Products
  • Manage sales territory SOH, consignment inventory, and case support inventory
  • Teach, coach, and promote the use of sales tools including MOVE Medical, BTC Hub, Salesforce.com with your sales team

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of medical sales experience
  • Adaptable and flexible, ability to work “on call” when needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current, valid driver’s license
  • Demonstrated ability to support product use during procedures
  • Ability to quickly develop strong and effective technical selling skills with new products in new markets
  • Ability to develop relationships with key customers
  • Ability to understand medical/surgical procedures and terminology
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and must reside in Brooklyn, Bronx, Long Island, Queen, Staten Island or surrounding areas 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience selling to plastic surgeons
  • Experience in market development

This role requires ongoing access to U.S. hospitals and compliance with facility-specific access policies (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines), vendor credentialing requirements including drug screening, background checks, immunization and training.

Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. For fully remote roles, the following locations are not eligible for new fully remote work arrangements: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
