What you’ll be doing…
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the Global Supply Chain team.
Your responsibilities will include order processing and coordination of large enterprise customer equipment orders that are directly tied to network services or be focused on serving our customers as well as expanding our Direct to Consumer channels.
The role will also focus on solving customer queries providing guidance on how to order their equipment, providing the status of the order and tracking information.
In this role, you would also have the opportunity to further improve our documentation to provide clarity to our employees and customers in an effort to reduce queries and increase their satisfaction.
- Position will support Order Processing & Coordination
- Managing customer relationships across all channels (business customer, ecommerce, wholesale and concessions)
- Implement solutions that drive benefits to Verizon and identify areas of opportunity for process improvement.
- Order tasking and stepping orders through provisioning process and systems.
- Collaborate in cross-functional project teams to meet deliverables and strategic objectives.
- Sustainability Reporting
- Inventory Movements & Planning for Wholesale, Accessories D2C & Concessions
- Performance management of suppliers to fulfill contractual obligations regarding PO fulfillment, on-time delivery, reporting, and discrepancy resolution.
- Own and act upon escalations for customer order fulfillment.
What we’re looking for…
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or applicable work experience.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of relationship management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Supply Chain or Planning Experience, preferably in a telecom or high-tech environment.
- Experience with customer service, provisioning and order processing.
- Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office and Google applications, coupled with strong attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.
- Vendor management experience and ability to manage a subset of suppliers effectively.

In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
