Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Strategy Analyst to oversee the delivery of procurement and contracting strategies across various functions within a National Regulated Utilities Industry.Reporting to the Supply Chain Strategy Lead, the successful candidate will support the development of procurement and contract strategies through market engagement, stakeholder management, and industry bench marking.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing procurement strategy reports aligned with business needs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate engagement with external suppliers to gather market insights and foster collaborative relationships.
  • Prepare and organize Strategy Packs for transfer to the Tender Delivery Team.
  • Develop and present reports and materials for internal governance committee approval on contract and procurement strategies.
  • Analyze market trends to inform the Strategy team in creating effective strategies.
  • Collaborate with similar utilities and government bodies in Ireland and Europe to promote best practices in contract and procurement development.
  • Communicate organizational requirements to the external supply market promptly.
  • Manage Frameworks at the framework level and track supplier performance against established KPIs.
  • Support the Tender Delivery Team and Business Units in developing efficient sourcing strategies for materials, services, and works.
  • Understand and utilize Supply Chain metrics and scorecards in collaboration with the Supply Chain Value and Performance team.
  • Escalate issues to the Strategy Lead/Manager when necessary.
  • Update monthly reports for the Supply Chain Strategy Team, contributing to the broader Supply Chain Team’s objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in utilities, or similar industries is preferred.
  • Relevant third-level qualification or accreditation is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end public procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, and experience in P2P, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
