This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a top-tier Irish consultancy at a senior level and contribute to the growth and development of the company into the future.Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be working on the delivery of major structural projects, with responsibility for the technical, managerial, and commercial aspects of the projects.Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years’ experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Honours degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Status with Engineers Ireland.
• An excellent track record in the delivery of projects including design, people management, project costing, budgeting, preparation of all contract documentation, programming, chairing meetings, managing contractual issues, site monitoring for compliance, contributing to the handover of completed projects.
• An excellent understanding of engineering principles and a strong technical focus, ability to apply engineering principles and codes of practice to solve technical problems.
• Structural design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, SCIA, TEDDS suite, CADS suite, STRAP, REVIT + AutoCAD skills.
• Leadership skills to plan, manage and direct human, material and financial resources required to solve complex problems in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop the technical, commercial and management skills of staff that report to you through mentoring, delegation, and training.
• Enhance company profile and assist the Board of Directors in the promotion of the strategic plan.
