About the Role: We are seeking a Regional Strategic Marketing Associate to join our US Vascular marketing team. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and execute marketing plans aimed at building awareness around TIPS Therapy within the Portal Hypertension disease state as part of the US Peripheral portfolio of commercialized products and new product derivatives. You will contribute to the success of the overall US Vascular business as you work in close partnership with functional partners to achieve the US annual revenue forecast.

This position offers multiple work arrangements: on-site at one of our facilities in Phoenix, Arizona, hybrid or fully remote work allowed in most locations within the United States, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of US regional marketing goals and plans by providing regional customer and peripheral landscape insights that need to be addressed to achieve revenue goals
  • Develop, maintain, execute, and measure success of US commercial marketing plans (direct to customer, market development, and direct to patient) in partnership with Product Specialists, Marketing, Sales, and Support Functions for the peripheral portfolio of commercialized products to achieve revenue targets
  • Work in close collaboration with implanter-focused strategic marketer to ensure cohesive strategies to develop and further penetrate the TIPS market
  • Develop tools and resources by analyzing existing data sources to identify under-penetrated markets that have capacity for TIPS therapy growth
  • Develop and execute programs (through Gore and/or new partner channels) aimed at educating targeted referring GI/Hep/ER physicians and/or liver care teams on the latest outcomes, evolving guidelines, and patient selection considerations for TIPS Therapy
  • Analyze regional market forces and competitive landscape resulting in actionable insights that inform marketing strategy
  • Ensure strong partnerships and integration with product teams, sales, business, functional marketing, and support functions to implement shared strategies
  • Represent region-specific (US) market insights and customer needs to global marketing and business partners in support of business planning, 15-year financial forecasting, and product and service development needs, while tracking, evaluating, and reporting on ROI for market strategies
  • Drive compliance clarity for referral-based programs and/or deliver scalable strategy for therapy awareness within Gore Peripheral

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years strategic marketing or market development experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries
  • Proven experience in developing and executing market development / therapy awareness commercial strategic plans to capitalize on revenue generating opportunities
  • Proven success in direct to referrer and/or direct to patient commercial strategic plans
  • Demonstrated success of utilizing digital tactics and virtual selling to meet revenue targets
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and integrate individuals and teams to execute against strategic plans
  • Proven ability to build relationships with clinical customers, in particular key physician thought leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to drive market assessments and uncover market insights that resulted in a marketing strategy
  • Ability to travel regionally, up to 30%

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Experience in the Hepatology/Gastroenterology category
