- Position Overview
Pick, pack, and dispatch orders in a manner that meets internal standards and client needs. Accountability for Inventory and inwards bound goods.

Provide optimal client service
- Key Responsibilities and Duties
Picking and packing orders

Ensure items picked match order at all times
-
Critically review orders for errors
-
Pack orders according to internal procedures, dangerous goods procedures and in a way that ensures client satisfaction
Dispatching orders / Inward Goods
-
Ensure goods are dispatched to correct address
-
Use appropriate dispatch methods to meet delivery times and cost effectiveness

Manage/Process Inwards goods on a consistent basis
-
Ensure all inwards goods are stored accurately and safely
Teamwork
-
Actively support other team members by participating in job rotation, roster rotation, and sharing responsibility for the completion of tasks.

Undertake projects and administration as required to improve service delivery to clients.

Provide back up across all roles in the Melbourne warehouse to ensure a seamless service to our customers and efficient internal operations.

Develop an understanding and required skills to be able to provide back-up for all roles in the Melbourne warehouse.
Knowledge

Ensure ongoing currency of functional and technical knowledge via self-directed learning and proactive involvement in training and personal research

Health and Safety

Adhere to all health and safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment

Proactively identify and report safety and health risks to ensure continuous improvement of occupational health and safety practices

Wear all personal protective equipment as required

Maintain awareness and understanding of internal safety procedures and adhere to these at all times

Proactively report and manage safety issues
