Staff Psychologist – Home-based Care

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provides clinical services in the homes of home-based veterans, and when
appropriate, through the use of telehealth means
Provides home-based services to the families of veterans with dementia when
such care is directly related to the overall treatment plan for the veteran
and will allow better care for the veteran and allow the family to sustain the
veteran in the home environment
Facilitates transition and adjustment to new living situations (e.g.,
nursing home, assisted living facility), and providing seamless
intervention services, as appropriate
Provides psychological prevention services to patients at significant risk for
psychological problems
Participates as a provider in the On Call system, responding to consultation
in the Emergency Department and all other hospital wards, facilities
admission to inpatient mental health unit, conducts treatment rounds on
inpatient unit on weekends, evenings, and holidays

Requirements:
United States Citizenship
Current, full and unrestricted psychology license from any US state or
District of Columbia
Have successfully completed an APA or CPA-accredited professional psychology
internship training program
Demonstrated multidisciplinary experience with inpatient and/or outpatient
care services in acute psychological care settings

Work Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 4:30pm (Schedule flexibility may
be authorized by the supervisor)

Compensation: Competitive base salary range: $93,959-$122,143.
