Staff Product Designer

Professional training and degree in UX or Product Design

8+ years of experience in a product design role, with at least four years as a lead designer

Has a passion for writing

Is a skilled prototyper

Is skilled in designing tools for the web / desktop as well as mobile

Is a thoughtful and passionate collaborator

Front-end development experience is a strong plus

Has a deep fascination for how technology intersects with creativity and empowers people rather than supplants them

Has a strong command of the English language, both written and spoken

Bonus: has fluency in either German or Dutch

You will lead the design of a complex writing tool from ideation to execution, ensuring that every detail is considered and every user interaction is refined.

You demonstrate mastery in design, with an exceptional eye for detail and nuance in the UI.

You ensure that our products not only function well but also delight users.

You partner with UX research to inform design decisions. Advocate for the user at every stage of the design process.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and writers, to create cohesive and innovative design solutions.

You will push the boundaries of what writing tools can be. Experiment with new ideas and approaches that enhance the writing process.

You provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the design team.
