Staff Level Android Software Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a staff level Android engineer to join us in building an Android app from the ground up (to replace our current React Native mobile app). We have a strong feedback loop with customers and as a member of the product team you will work cross functionally with product, design, customer support, and other engineers to solve critical customer problems end to end. We are a small, remote team and are highly focused on impactful changes that make our customers more successful.

• You are excited about our mission and our values align with yours
• You have experience as a technical lead with a strong voice that can confidently help us solve problems, improve the system architecture, and codebase
• We are seeking someone who has worked on Android applications that thousands of people use daily at a medium-to-large company
• You have experience working with the old and new methods of Android development, and you have been working on Android for the last 2 years
• You have held a staff level position for at least 2 years
• We prefer people with both big company and startup experience
• You live within a three hour time zone difference from California
• You are passionate about design patterns, principles, standards and best practices that lead to building blocks for a highly maintainable and scalable system
