Your Role: Contribute to expense management through effective best practices. Execute current subrogation processes and procedures to deliver the monthly and year-end department recovery goals. Develop and enhance skill set of employees to ensure their success as Subrogation Specialists.

Your work:

  • Provides leadership over the Subrogation recovery process through file quality reviews, back-log prioritization, vendor relationship management, directing daily distribution of workload to employees with the responsibility for delivering monthly and year-end goals.
  • Recommends improvements and solutions to operational processes of respective area of accountability.
  • Mentor, coach and develop employees to operate within a team environment; performance management, talent management, leadership development, employee relations.
  • Responsible for staff handling more complex claims requiring higher level of claims expertise, including arbitration filing.

Required Experience, Education and Skills

  • Knowledge of state and federal insurance regulations.
  • Ability to analyze data and formulate solutions.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Effective leadership, team-building and people development skills.
  • Effective presentation skills and the ability to hold effective meetings.
  • Typically 2+ years of claims experience
  • Typically 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience

The national average salary range for this position is $89,910 – $99,900.

However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $80,820 – $119,800. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 12% of eligible pay.

Factors used to determine the actual salary offered may include location, experience, or education.

Please note we are hiring for this role remote anywhere in the United States with the following exceptions: Hawaii and Alaska.
