AWS is leading the next paradigm shift in information technology and is looking for world-class candidates to join AWS Migration & Modernisation Team as an Application Modernization (AppMod) Sales Specialist. You will play a key role in accelerating the Cloud Migration & Modernization journey for ANZ-PS customers. You will identify opportunities to adoption of AWS Cloud with these customers and develop repeatable strategies to modernize customer’s IT infrastructure. You will communicate the modernization proposition for AWS cloud to a broad audience of IT, business & finance leaders. Key job responsibilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for AWS Application Modernisation services.
• Articulate compelling value propositions for AWS Application Modernisation and Drives sales engagement with cloud economic values.
• Meet or exceed the assigned sales revenue targets.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies such as microservices, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines in Application Modernisation from legacy enterprise application architecture.
• Engage in senior level customer meetings to discuss customer’s business issues and explores how AWS Modernisation can help address and resolve customer issues.
• Collaborate with AWS Account Managers, Migration & Modernisation BDM, Solutions Architects, Professional Services teams, and other relevant stakeholders to craft compelling solutions and proposals.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS
Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent
