We will fulfil both vendor and customer needs through efficient supply chain, extensive product knowledge and value added solutions delivered profitably by dedicated and professional employees.Our Vision:To create value and make a differenceOur Values:Creativity & ImaginationPassion Energy & AmbitionHire & Retain the BestLeadershipTeamworkRespectExcellenceOverview of role: As Parts Supervisor you will be responsible for the day to day running of the parts department, responsible for ordering, receipt, issuing, returning to vendor & storage and care of all stock within the department.Reporting Line: Head of Returns, Workshop, Logistics & Parts DeptsMain Responsibilities are not limited to but will include:Overall responsibility for day-to-day operations of the department. These responsibilities include:·Raising Purchase orders with OEM/ suppliers and in ERP system.·PO receipt of spare parts·Run stock issue analysis (MRP) and raise Purchase Orders to OEM’s·Ensure Allocation of spares parts to technicians as requested and ensure movement updated on system·Staffing and resourcing of employees within area for department functions.·Supervision, duty delegation and motivation of direct reports within department.·Returning of faulty parts / high value parts to OEMs/suppliers.·To be fully able to operate the ERP stock control system.·To run daily and monitor stock usage reports.·To keep ERP stock system up to date so that you can account for and locate all stock.·To be able to input a new order into the system giving each item a detailed description and new Stock number if necessary.·To ensure inbound PO delivery stock is counted and checked before booking onto stock.·To prepare any relevant paperwork with regards to having a damaged or wrongly ordered item delivered.·To follow up on all queries with OEMs/suppliers to full resolution of any issues.·To ensure that all storage areas are kept clean and in an economical orderly fashion.·To keep an organised filing system.·To keep up to date with any general admin duties i.e. ordering, returns, Emailing suppliers.·To prepare and send of reports to key customers/ OEM as per schedule and on an adhoc as requested basis·To ensure inventory cycle counts are completed as required and facilitate any OEM monthly/ quarterly stock counts as requested by OEMs.·To be the initial point of call for all telephone inquiries from other departments.·To assist in building a strong communication relationship between the parts dept, workshop and customer service departments.·To ensure that all policy & procedures are followed.·General duties will include assisting in parts area maintenance to ensure a clean and healthy environment.Key Competency: Required Ability: Management of workshop spares requirements. Ability to work on own initiative and to plan daily/monthly target actions.
Purchase Order raising & Online ordering Strong systems knowledge and ability to develop clear understanding of business processes.
Inventory control management Good Microsoft Office Knowledge incl. excel, word and PowerPoint
Generate reports. Ability to multi task and prioritise key objectives on a daily basis
Collation and batching of used material for return to Manufacturer on bi weekly/ monthly basis Attention to detail and fast learnerRequirements:Ideally, you will need to be educated to Leaving Certificate level or higher.
