WHAT YOU’LL DO

We need a presale’s visionary (Solutions Engineer) who strives to innovate the world of offerings and solutions. Using our extensive portfolio of Software, Hardware and Services, you will position our solutions and value with various Queensland customers, ranging from Commercial to Enterprise customers all while developing a strong technical partnership.

Delivering the most accurate standalone / cross-portfolio solutions and presales proposals, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve our strategies, offer packages and pricing, and client proposals. Because you’ll craft so many inventive solutions, you’ll handle a continuous roadmap of opportunities in support of the full lifecycle requirements.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will get the opportunity to work with Various Queensland accounts as a Solutions Engineer (SE). As a Cisco Solutions Engineer, you will be a part of a dynamic and creative team of technology influencers. Cisco SE’s are vital members of the organization who develop technical solutions to assist our customers to achieve their business outcomes using Cisco’s extensive technology portfolio. Industry-leading development programs ensure you will become and remain a technical authority who is entrusted to guide and educate our customers towards building technical solutions that drive innovation within their companies. You will join the strongest Engineering team in the industry and peer with Account Managers and Sales Specialists who are invested in your success.

WHO YOU ARE

You are an experienced Solutions Engineer with a strong background in one or more of our key Architectures: Transform the Infrastructure, Reimagining Applications, Secure the Enterprise or Hybrid Work. You will partner with our Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role, promoting and showcasing Cisco solutions. You have industry knowledge and years of technology experience to aid in technical solution selling, explaining features and benefits to customers and crafting and configuring solutions to meet specific customer needs.

You will gain access to the palette of Cisco technologies and applications. In addition to technological aptitude and the ability for accelerated learning, you have social, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills that evoke passion and confidence.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• 5+ years of networkingtelecommunicationscloud industry-related experience as well as Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area.

• Pre-Sales experience required.

• Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.

• Strong knowledge in the Software Defined Networking area.

• CCNP, CCDP or similar vendor Certification Highly Regarded.

• A strong multi-domain skillset across Collaboration, Campus and Branch Networks, Security, Cloud, Observability and IoT is also helpful.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.

• Ability to work effectively and chip in as a team member.

• Strong analytical skills: ability to assess a problem and resolve with an effective course of action.
