Social Media Volunteer for Gaza Fundraising Campaign

Are you passionate about social media and want to make a difference? Join our team as a Social Media Volunteer and help amplify our efforts to support internally displaced persons in Gaza. As part of Clean Shelter, a dedicated humanitarian organization, you’ll work alongside compassionate professionals focused on raising essential funds to offer real crisis relief in order to mitigate the devastating effects of displacement and war.

Role and Responsibilities:

– Content Creation: Assist in developing impactful, culturally sensitive posts, stories, and visual content for platforms (ie Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn etc).

– Engagement: Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and queries with empathy and knowledge.

– Campaign Support: Aid in planning and executing social media campaigns aligned with our fundraising goals and ensure timely, consistent messaging.

Commitment: 5-10 hours per week

Qualifications:

– Social Media Savvy: Experience with major social media platforms and a basic understanding of content strategy, engagement, and storytelling.

– Compassion and Cultural Sensitivity: A commitment to handling sensitive topics with respect and empathy, especially regarding humanitarian issues in Gaza.

– Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written communication with attention to clarity, accuracy, and tone.

– Self-Motivated: Able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

– Creativity: Ability to think creatively about how to convey complex issues through accessible, visual storytelling.
