Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals? We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Worker to join our clients team in Kildare. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalised support to adults with intellectual disabilities in their homes on a one-to-one basis.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualised care and support to clients, tailored to their unique needs and circumstances.
• Foster a safe and nurturing environment for clients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
• Assist clients in developing essential life skills, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and social interaction.
• Encourage clients to engage in recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including health care professionals and family members, to ensure the best possible care for clients.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client progress and interventions.
• Promote and uphold the organisation’s policies, procedures, and code of ethics.

Qualifications:

• A relevant third level qualification in social care or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Previous experience in social care is an advantage.
• Full clean driving licence
• Must have Fire Safety, BLS, and Patient/Manual handling certificates in date
