  • Oversee daily operations on solar project sites, ensuring safety, quality, and project specifications are met.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation and implement good QEHS practices.
  • Lead and manage teams of installers, technicians, and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Ensure project milestones are achieved through effective communication with all parties.
  • Uphold quality control measures and conduct regular site inspections, ensuring safety procedures are followed.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to address quality issues promptly.
  • Document all communications and manage site issues to resolution.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports and schedules.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure efficient and safe work by all team members.
  • Report to the Project Manager and senior management, ensuring clear communication.
  • Travel and overnight stays as required.

Qualifications

  • Electrical Background/Trade or relevant industry experience is essential
  • Previous Site Supervision/Management is required ( min 2+ Years of site management)
  • Safe pass, manual handling, MEWP, First aid, Confined space, Abrasive Wheels, Hot works & Working at height etc. would be an advantage
  • Roofing, Scaffolding, PCSC experience beneficial
  • Strong organisational skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with key decision makers
  • The ability to prioritise & manage your time and workload.
  • High degree of accuracy required in detail and presentation
  • Proactive approach to innovation and problem solving
  • Full Clean Driving License
  • Irish Construction requirements knowledge particularly around EHS
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems Solar PV, Wind Turbines, Biomass Boilers would be an advantage
