  • Site Setup and Coordination: Set up and manage construction sites, ensuring all necessary resources and logistics are in place for project commencement.
  • Technical Supervision: Oversee the technical aspects of construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Surveying and Setting Out: Perform site surveys and setting out for various construction activities, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets all required standards and specifications.
  • Health and Safety Management: Enforce health and safety protocols on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve technical issues that arise on site, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.
  • Communication: Foster effective communication between site personnel, project managers, and other stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed of site activities and progress.
  • Material Management: Oversee the procurement and management of construction materials, ensuring timely availability and quality.

Candidate Profile

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in construction site engineering within the construction industry, with a proven track record of managing site operations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, surveying, and site management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using engineering and construction software and tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing site activities and documentation.
