Site Engineer – RoscommonDOE: €55k – €70K (depending on experience)Company Overview:A main contractor who has a new project starting in Roscommon are seeking a Site Engineer to support their team on the project.Job Summary:We are recruiting for a Site Engineer for our client. This is a full-time, permanent position. It would be best suited to an enthusiastic and highly driven Site Engineer. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Management.Your responsibilities will be as below:Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
• Providing progress reports for the site management team & clients.
• Regular use of AutoCAD to check on site dimensions.
• Taking levels for the construction of a structural steel frame, finishing concrete, drainage services and roadways etc.
• Liaising with sub-contractors & site managers.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are maintained

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience in setting out on construction sites,
• Experience working with a maon contractor desirable but not essential.
• Experienced in the use of instruments (total station, GPS)
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
