Job Title: Site Civil Engineer
Reporting to: Project Manager / Project Engineer
Location: Raharney (home base) and various site locationsOur client, a leading manufacturer of pre-stressed and precast concrete products, seeks a Site Civil Engineer to support their expanding projects across Ireland.Responsibilities:

• Set out and coordinate site activities with the Project Manager and Site Foreman, ensuring the accurate installation of precast elements.
• Conduct quality checks, compile inspection reports, and arrange on-site testing.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and site coordination.
• Attend site meetings, communicate outcomes, and keep accurate site records and diaries.
• Oversee site health and safety in conjunction with the Health & Safety Manager.
• Support the scheduling of labour, plant, and materials; assist with project programming and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with the Transport Manager on delivery scheduling.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree (Level 7 or 8) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a similar role.
• Strong technical, mathematical, and planning skills; proficient in AutoCAD and Eurocodes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to develop commercial acumen and continuously improve technical skills.
• Valid Safe Pass, SSSTS/CSCS card, other related tickets, and a full clean driving license required.
